Has anyone used the website Ethereumxcorp? Is it a scam?

I know this seems pretty obvious, but I saw a post stating there’s a promo code giving away 0.24 ETH which is worth about 8,500 USD. That is already screaming scam, but I went ahead and signed up without using any real info and entered the code. Attempted to transfer the ETH to coin base and got a message then saying you must deposit 0.00500 BTC in order to withdraw the total amount including the deposit. Even more scammy to me but just wondering if anyone knows about this website. Warning: I am not going to do this and I definitely believe it is a scam.
