Agentic payment space is dominated by Solana, Base and Polygon

According to Token Terminal data, total agentic transfer count stands at 51.4 million transactions (down 78.8% following an late-August 2026 activity surge). On-chain AI agent payments (primarily via the x402 protocol) are heavily concentrated across three primary networks:

• Solana: Leads overall transaction volume with 20.1 million agentic transfers.
• Base: Ranks second with 14.7 million transfers, while commanding the highest active monthly agent senders.
• Polygon: Tied closely for second with 14.7 million transfers.

Together, these three chains handle ~96.3% of all recorded agentic payment transfers. Minor activity remains distributed across Algorand (1.1M), Celo (727.8K), Arc (3.7K), and XDC Network (426).
